1.4 Information from Third-Party Integrations

If you connect your Printogo account to a third-party e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy) or payment processor (e.g., Stripe, PayPal), we may receive information from those platforms as authorized by you, including store details, order information, and product listings.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We process personal information for the following business and commercial purposes:

2.1 Order Fulfillment

To provide the core Services of our platform: processing, printing, packing, and shipping customized products to your end-customers. This includes transmitting necessary information to production facilities and logistics carriers.

2.2 Account Management and Customer Support

To create and maintain your Merchant account, authenticate your identity, provide technical support, respond to inquiries and claims, and send you service-related communications, including order status updates, platform notifications, and policy change notices.

2.3 Payment Processing

To process billing transactions through authorized third-party payment gateways, calculate and collect applicable fees, and maintain financial records.

2.4 Legal and Regulatory Compliance

To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests, including tax reporting obligations, anti-fraud and anti-money laundering requirements, and responding to lawful subpoenas or court orders.

2.5 Platform Improvement and Analytics

To analyze usage trends, monitor the performance and stability of our platform, diagnose technical issues, and improve the functionality and user experience of our Services.

2.6 Marketing and Promotional Communications

With your prior consent where required by applicable law, we may use your Merchant contact information to send you promotional emails about new products, features, or special offers. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the "unsubscribe" link in any such email or by contacting us directly.

2.7 Security and Fraud Prevention

To detect, prevent, and investigate fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access, and other potentially illegal or prohibited activities, and to enforce our Terms of Service.

3. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURES

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your end-customers' personal information for monetary consideration. We share personal information only as described below:

3.1 Production Partners (Fulfillment Facilities)

We share order details, including end-customer shipping information and design files, with our network of third-party production facilities. These partners are contractually obligated to use such data solely for the purpose of manufacturing and preparing your orders for shipment.

3.2 Logistics Carriers

We share end-customer names, shipping addresses, and, where applicable, phone numbers and email addresses with third-party shipping carriers (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, and local postal services) to facilitate delivery and provide tracking information.

3.3 Payment Processors

We share payment information with third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) to process your payments and manage billing. These processors are PCI-DSS compliant and handle your payment data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

3.4 Service Providers and Vendors

We may engage third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, including cloud hosting, data analytics, email delivery, customer support tools, and website optimization. These providers are authorized to process personal information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

3.5 Legal and Safety Disclosures

We may disclose personal information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with a valid legal obligation, such as a subpoena, court order, or applicable law;
  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of Printogo, our Merchants, end-customers, or the public;
  • Investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected fraud, security breaches, or violations of our Terms of Service.

3.6 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of all or a portion of our assets, or bankruptcy, personal information we hold may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. DATA TRANSFERS AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

Printogo is based in the United States, and our production partners and service providers may be located in the United States, Europe, Asia, and other regions worldwide. By using our Services, you acknowledge that your personal information and your end-customers' personal information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in countries other than your country of residence, including countries that may have data protection laws that differ from, and may be less protective than, those in your jurisdiction.

Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards to protect personal information transferred across borders, including entering into data processing agreements that incorporate standard contractual clauses approved by relevant regulatory authorities.

5. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, tax, or regulatory reporting requirements.

  • End-Customer Order Data: Retained for a reasonable period necessary to process and deliver orders, handle any returns, refunds, or claims, and comply with applicable tax and accounting requirements.
  • Usage Data and Analytics: Retained in aggregated or anonymized form for analytical purposes where individual identification is not reasonably possible.

When personal information is no longer required, we will securely delete, destroy, or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention and destruction policies.

8. DATA SECURITY

We implement and maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal information in our possession. These measures include, but are not limited to:

  • Encryption of data in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols;
  • Secure server infrastructure with access controls and authentication mechanisms;
  • Regular security assessments and monitoring for vulnerabilities;
  • Contractual obligations requiring service providers and production partners to implement appropriate security measures.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our Services are intended for business use by Merchants who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of 16. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 16 without verifiable parental consent, we will take prompt steps to delete such information. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal obligations, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will provide notice by:

  • Posting the updated Privacy Policy on our website with a new "Last updated" date; and
  • Sending an email notification to the email address associated with your Merchant account.

Your continued use of our Services after the effective date of any updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the changes. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
